Why would it be mandatory for the Forum Owners to post on a SPECIFIC THREAD that does not involve them in any way.... other than somebody failed to follow the SAFETY RULES for firearms?
There are LOTS of other forum trackers that can make comments!

"Fair use is a copyright principle based on the belief that the public is entitled to freely use portions of copyrighted materials for purposes of commentary and criticism. For example, if you wish to criticize a novelist, you should have the freedom to quote a portion of the novelist’s work without asking permission. Absent this freedom, copyright owners could stifle any negative comments about their work.

Unfortunately, if the copyright owner disagrees with your fair use interpretation, the dispute may have to be resolved by a lawsuit or arbitration. If it’s not a fair use, then you are infringing upon the rights of the copyright owner and may be liable for damages.

The only guidance for fair use is provided by a set of factors outlined in copyright law. These factors are weighed in each case to determine whether a use qualifies as a fair use. (http://fairuse.stanford.edu/Copyright_and_Fair_Use_Overview/chapter9/ ) Dear old alma mater.

Fair use is for comment and criticism and not for teasing, touting and spamming. I find for Bradley.

Bradley, is a sock-puppet & You; are a Newbie...perhaps both of you should retrace your footsteps on this forum's path-way. :shocker:

Ironic, isn't it, that you (fairly) quoted the article about fair use in an effort to refute the need for fair use quotes rather than posting a blind link...

They're the same person, already banned a dozen times.

And while he can take the time to post long things about internet spying, he still refuses to inform us about the blind link originally posted.
Guess it's not important. Doesn't appear to be OC related, so should be moved to the general discussion or social lounge.
