Anyone who wants to meet up on V day let me know when is best. I assume most ppl have jobs so noonish or after 5ish will probably be best. I don't care which one we meet at, but closer to downtown would be best IMO.

A little help on recording police

Is there some kind of law restricting this in Oregon? I can't seem to find one reviewing the code, but I may have missed it.

I think there's a wire tapping law, and in Oregon the courts have ruled that one must inform others when audio recording. I believe there was a ruling where a man holding a camcorder or some obvious recording device didn't need to inform since the police saw him and his camcorder. But in general the first thing you want to hear on every recording is you saying, "Audio recording." I suspect sometime in the next few years the supreme court will rule on recording public officials, but until then it's a state by state thing.

Lots of lunchgoers from surrounding businesses. Very visible location for educating people about the right to open carry. Feel free to msg. or e-mail me if this doesn't work for you.
