Lacey Safeway, Home Depot, and WINCO. At WINCO a guy said, "nice jewelry", and his wife said she feels safer now (unless I was a BG). I said thanks, not a BG, and welcome to America and we all laughed.
Which haggens if you don't mind me asking? I normally shop at gig harbor and haven't OCd in a while, didn't really know if they like it there or notRan errands today, visited Tacoma Doge, Petsmart and Haggens.
No issues as usual. Got the usual sideways glances from the local gang-banger wannabes. Had one comment while in the check out line from an elderly (Elderly? probably not much older than me) ex Marine who asked if my Colt was in condition one. "It's the only way to fly" was my response. He gave me thumbs up.
Well if were going for more, of the mundane and uneventful, last Friday I got my chiappa rhino out in my new ghost ultimate holster and ran a bunch of errands around Yelm, got my car tabs, stood in line at the bank to pay a bill, when shopping at walmart. the only comment I got when getting into my car to leave was a fellow firearms enthusiast(his dog is named mauser) who wanted to know what I was carrying, had a nice conversation and went about my business.
I agree. of the police agencies I have interacted with, WSP seems to be the best.I have noticed that of all the LEOs in this state, WSP seems to be the most professional and respectful towards citizens and their rights.
He seemed to be completely calm about the fact that some random person was standing about 20 feet away while lawfully carrying a firearm.
A good story to hear, as someone who is deeply skeptical of all police. I'll point out that you weren't "some random person"; you were the lawful tenant in control of adjacent property, with every right to be there, doing whatever you pleased.
Making ID a condition of a sale is in violation of Visa/MC policy (page 34 to be exact).
I also had to school them on their policy of requiring ID for credit/debit card over $25. Making ID a condition of a sale is in violation of Visa/MC policy (page 34 to be exact).
Things like that always bother me. Why would I entrust my card number to people who are proving themselves untrustworthy by breaking a contract/promise?
My daughter, and I drove all the way to Longview to find a geocache. This is not any geocache though. Most gc's are small tuperware containers, and big ones are regular ammo cans. This person went over the top, and made an ammo can the size of a VW van. Also as a side note we stopped at Burgerville for lunch, and the food was mediocre. I asked for no pickles, and guess what I got? Fracking pickles! Had them make a new one. I also had to school them on their policy of requiring ID for credit/debit card over $25. Making ID a condition of a sale is in violation of Visa/MC policy (page 34 to be exact). Good thing I was OC'ing, it keeps me from going ballistic in public.
Anyway that was one of the coolest gc I've ever found. I also left some WAGUN business cards there.
Sorry but no.
If your card doesn't have a signature I'm asking for id. If while I'm creating your order and you tell me your name is john then hand me a card that says james then I'm asking for id.
I don't care what visa or mc say. I'm not losing my job because I didn't follow store policy and processed a stolen card.
When did I say my card is not signed?
