A one vote defeat by a senator who voted for before he voted against it. Put it on the calendar and let the politicians go on record with their vote.
We are talking about a calendar, a electronic calenard at that! Put them all on there, in any order they please.Honestly guys, slow it down a bit. What's up first are appropriation bills, not legislative fluff. If the legislature wants to concentrate on appropriations first, I think that's a good call. A lot of other bills that I think will be up for an override aren't in there. Just write your legislators and keep the premature complaining to a minimum please.

Oh, they are all legislative at this point. Hold those in Jeff City to their word. They voted for it once...We are talking about a calendar, a electronic calendar at that! Put them all on there, in any order they please.
Sure, but I've been watching calendars since they've had a website. While they could do it as you propose, they never have and are unlikely to change for SB656. It just how the game is played and there's not much we can do to change it.

My understanding is Amendment 5 is now law? What does this do for open carry? If anything.
Does anyone else agree or think that its possible Amendment 5 will open up the possibility for MO to become a Constitutional Carry State like Arizona or Alaska?
No, the statute is effective when the override is successful, because the override session happens after the effective date of the original statute.

I have too few brain cells remaining to listen. Also, I don't need to put my last nerve out there for them to step on.So far, it's just delay tactics by Democrats. The longer I listen, the dumber I get.
