A few weeks back a poster on the Open Carry Face Book page posted a picture of the front door of the Sahara Coin saying no guns allowed, words to this affect we have armed security and would use lethal force. Kind of over the top for a no gun sign. I sent them a e-mail letting them know it was being posted on the pro gun pages that their facility was anti 2nd Amendment.
This started a e-mail very positive conversation between me and the General manager of Sahara Coin.
Here is replyes I believe most will want to see.
From Sahara Coin.
Thank you again for your response, I am pleased to be able to share with you that after putting lots of thought to this and holding a meeting with my staff, I will be changing the signage on the door. Legal gun owners will now be allowed to carry in our store. The policy that was in place and put on the front door was put into place by a past managing partner and as I mentioned before I am definitely pro gun. I conceal and open carry personally not only in the business but also on at home and when out and about with my family.
We are a business that is unlike many others and one thing that we are proud of is being able to provide individuals like yourself and other like minded folks the ability to get precious metals and coins to protect our wealth and be prepared with metals at any given time. I completely understand that precious metals and gun ownership go hand in hand, as I am an owner of both, we also are a part of a Radio show on AM720 that is definitely pro guns and we discuss it quite a bit.
Again, thank you for bringing this back to our attention and I am very pleased to be able to notify you of this change, I personally do not like any of my rights stripped away for any reason and in I can say that we in no way intended to blackball any one person or group of people especially when it comes to our 2nd Amendment right! It will take a little while for the sign to get updated as we have to order it but please rest assured this change is done.
Have a great afternoon,

I spoke with the guys over at AM720 KDWN where I will be talking about our new gun policy tomorrow morning on air at 8:15am. I have not shared your email or information with them but had mentioned I was contacted directly by a pro gun activist from here in town and they has asked if you would not mind coming on the show via phone to discuss gun rights and how important they are to reserve. If you are not comfortable doing so I completely understand but I figured I would ask you if that is something you wouldn’t mind doing and if so if I may pass your contact info on to them. Feel free to give me a call if it is more convenient than emailing (702)367-4360 ext. 201
Thanks,

A Sothern Nevada Open Carry face book posting from Sahara Coins.
Raymond Bryant Hey everyone, I am the General Manager of Sahara Coins and I would like to let all of you know that due to a very professional communication sent to me by one of your members and after holding a meeting with our staff I have changed the policy. We as individuals are all Pro Gun and I personally carry everywhere I go, Being here 8 years and not being the initial individual responsible for posting the sign I never really gave any weight to it. I would personally like to welcome you all to our store with or without your firearm. I appreciate legal carry gun owners and am happy to announce that the sign regarding the firearm band has been completely removed.
Thanks,

Think about sending Sahara Coin an support e-mail. Over the years I have sent e-mails out to anti gun business. I try to word them as a business partner with an disagreement trying to use common since pro gun wording not as a pissed off adversary. It has worked however only a few times it does work.
