Does anyone know a company that makes a Ruger P series leather, non-thumbstrap, black, OC holster? They must come in left and right to make a set. I have looked at galco, theholsterstore.com, uncly mikes, and a few others. I am not interested in the "plastic" ones unless they are the same as described above, but not leather. I don't want the trigger retention button either. I know there are plastic ones, but not in a left side. Any help would be great. Thank you.

Good luck. I have been looking for one for my Ruger P95. My current OC one kind of sucks, and is made of nylon. I can't find any leather or plastic holsters that my Ruger will fit in.

If you can't find exactly what you want in leather or kydex, you can always go to knifekits and order up some kydex or concealex in whatever color you fancy. It's stupid simple to make a custom holster for yourself that way. I've made a few...a couple appendix inside the waistbands, some mag holders for Glock mags and for AR mags, a paddle strong-side/appendix, and what I carry now, an appendix belt-slide. If you want any tips on that, lemme know...there's a few good tutorials on other discussion board sites as well.

I have a Don Hume JIT slide that I use for a Ruger P series. There is no mechanical retention device, just friction. But if that doesn't bother you, you should check them out. I think Don Hume holsters are a great value. I have about 5 of them for various guns, and they are all close to ten years old, but still as good as when brand new.

Have you looked at Bianchi? They have a leather holster model 105 that fits the following pistols: P85, P89, P90, P91, P94, P95, KP97.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have had the kind that are also cc and half cc throught the best. 1 thing i dont want is once you unholster the holster goes flat. U guess I kinda want a six shooter type in a sense. Obviously not as loose, but i draw and holster a lot. The kydex ones would work okish....if they made a left hand one. I have 2 diff right hand types, but no matching for the left...

Edit: I do not like high rise holsters. I like them slighty lower than the belt.
