I'm not condoning this type of violence by either party, but take away a mans right to own firearms as the Australian Prim mininster John Howard did, then take away a mans right to withdraw his labor, the next thing John Howard did, and one ends up with a one sided lethal cocktail when wages drop to starvation levels, or fail to keep up with the cost of living. These miners are striking over starvation wages, many on roughly $300 / $400 per month which does not cover the cost of food and living expenses?
Reminds me of the time the Australian government sent in the police against the strinking miners at Rothbury NSW Australia back in the 20's. The police opened fire and killed Norman Brown a a married man with children, and they wounded many others. Back to the future!
Matchets and sticks are no match against armed police!
