First I want to thank all who have posted here. I went to the first threads and worked my way to the current threads and learned alot.
Last Friday evening I went to an art festival in downtown Logan. I was a little nervous knowing so many people were going to be there. Also I was unsure how they were going to react. Needless to say it went pretty well. Only one jaw dropped, and when I was near a group of 3 ten year old girls they seemed to be a little nervous. Other than that nobody seemed to mind or notice. One Logan city police officer passed by without saying anything.
Other times I have open carried were at the farmers market in Logan. With all the liberals that frequent I was a little concearned that there might be some sort of confrontation. I was wrong, nothing but friendly greetings and smiles.
I also filled up at a gas station on west side of town that the sheriff's department is known to frequent. None were there when I pulled in, but after I came out from paying there was a plain clothes detective on the other side of the pump I was using. I think he did a double take when he noticed but didn't say a word.
Over all it has been a good experience, and I get more confident each time. Again thanks for the many threads that have been posted that helped acquaint me with the law.
