Once hailed as unhackable, blockchains are now getting hacked

More and more security holes are appearing in cryptocurrency and smart contract platforms, and some are fundamental to the way they were built.
This could be a very big can of bugs. The hacking of blockchains? The hacking of federal, state, county databases where gun permits, criminal records, mental health records.

Perhaps it is time to go back to paper and pencil.
