I was down there again today, had a blast, lots of great people watching lol... I took mental notes today of the "NO Weapons" signs. They were located on the entrances to all the fenced in vendor/concert areas. They were also at all the entrances to the Casinos (from the front parking lots and from the river walk)
On a side note I talked to some of the Casino security managers (the guys that are there all the time, not just during River Run) and all of that I talked to told me that the Casino has a NO Weapons policy all the time, not just during River Run. They basically told me that they do not allow concealed or open carry in their facility at any time! I specifically talked to guards at Harra's, The Aquarius, The River Front, The Golden Nugget and the Pioneer.
I don't frequent the casinos so I have never attempted to carry in any of them, does anyone else have experience at these casinos? I was wondering about OC in Casinos in Las Vegas too, do they allow it or not?
Before everyone jumps in with the "those signs don't make it illegal" I do understand that the sign doesn't change the law, it basically just gives them the right to have you trespassed off the property if they really want, no different (if I understand it correctly) than a "No shirt, No shoes, No Service" sign.
