Seriously?

It's official. We are at the height of wedding season in America. But before you dart off to the local department store to buy your friends a gift from their registry, President Barack Obama's re-election campaign would like you to consider a new gifting option: the Obama Event Registry.

Part of the description reads: "Instead of another gift card you'll forget to use, ask your friends and family for something that will go a little further." The description goes on to suggest donating the money you would have used for your friends' gift to the Obama re-election campaign in their honor.

The registry is now available online, and it suggests that donating does not have be limited to weddings. It could be for any event from birthdays to graduations and even bar mitzvahs. The website even gives couples suggested wording when asking for the gifts. For example, it has, "I'm making it easy on you. Instead of falling back on a gift card -- or cash -- you can give to my Obama 2012 fundraising page." The website also says that a monetary donation "goes further than a gravy bowl."

My sides hurt from laughing.

I wonder what the administrative costs are associated with processing each donation.

I can probably afford a few $0.01 donations.

Let me find out it's 0.02 a pop and I'll make at least hundred 0.01 pledges, to counter the hundred bucks BL92 might pledge after her EBT withdrawl.

How is my favorite moonbat anyway? I hope she's been saving up for my beer shipment.

I use my EBT for more important things, pal. Plus, my EBT only covers about two weeks worth of booze, and crack cocaine.

I was just thinking of the beer bet this morning. You better not welch on our bet. President Obama is taking Romney down. It's kind of funny to think that your ilk are going to be forced to vote for Romney (8 years) to get President Obama out of four more years.

No libertarian, in their right mind, would be married to someone who wanted JBT to steal from their neighbors.

"Here is some booze man." "Thanks. " "You're welcome I jacked it from the liquor store."
I think that a libertarian might respond with no thanks

I believe that a socialist/demoncrap might just drink it still.

*drinks booze*

*calls police*

"So your friend stole this booze then you drank it?"

"Yes sir, officer. I had no idea it was stolen till after I had consumed all four bottles of JD, I swear!"

"I don't believe you."

"But officer, if I were lying why would I call you?"

"Because you're drunk."

"No sir, it takes a lot more than 6 bottles of JD to get my drunk!"

"There's puke on your shoes and you can't count, there's only 3 bottles on the floor"

"I ate the other 7?"

"You're coming with me"

"Awwwww ****"
