I know that in Wisconsin without the NRA we would have been in a world of hurt for the last 8 years with Doyle the Knobhead and Liberal Democrats in charge of state government.

My question is why, with the NRA saying they are advocating for Constitutional Carry, and the Republicans having Constitutional Carry as part of their platform, why hasn't it happened?

Yep....but the smell of mandatory training being pushed by Minnesota permit trainers is starting.

Smells like a FART 12 hours after eating a Bean & cheese burrito with extra Sour Cream.....
Our elected reps are listening to the trainers, because the trainers are telling them horror stories of what according to the trainers WILL happen if people are not "permitted" & "trained" & since the majority of the elected officials are ignorant when it come to gun rights & not of the gun culture they will be all to easily brain washed by the training culture.

Like i have been saying for a few months now...CC would be great & I am telling my elected reps that I want it...we will in the end get Permitted w/ training Concealed carry. The deck is just stacked against us.

Maybe if 30 thousand Pro gun people took over the Capitol for a day we might get it.....

Based upon my research of other states' reciprocity requirements, I have just finished drafting a bill for West Virginia that would create 5 different classes of licenses.
I'm sure you've done lots of research, and probably have a handle on what your elected representatives will pass, law-wise, but...:

O.M.G.
You're kidding, right?
More, bigger, more intrusive government?
More infringements on the right to keep & bear arms?
More complication for police to learn? (If they can't manage to keep "shall not be infringed" straight, how will they mangle your 5-tier system of infringements?)

Just because it will fit nicely into the intrusive schemes already in place in other states doesn't mean it's a good idea.
What if everyone tried to match gun-related laws with NJ or CA or DC or Chicago?
Instead of finding out what's palatable to your elected lawmakers, remind them what the law of the land says & make them correct state laws.
