Why? Do y'all have distemper? They got shots for that now, you know.
Worse than distemper... I guess you could varicella?

well, helicopters aren't cheap.According to Burke Lake Park's website, the fee is now up to $10 per non-resident car on holidays/weekends
Hidden Pond Park weekend hours are 12-5, if that matters...
June 8 looks best to me; I propose to rent the space for all day at Fountainhead unless there's a firestorm of objection. Any contributions to defray that cost will be gratefully accepted.
If everyone else is agreed on date/place, I say let's move on to food/supplies.
Ok, so fountainhead it is.
June 8th, 10:30am - 2:00

I just realized that they charged me an extra thirty bucks because I'm "non-jurisdiction"; I'm thinking if I can put it in the name of someone who has an address in Fairfax Co., I might be able to get a partial refund.
Btw, I'm not keeping track of how many people are coming, what they're bringing, or any of that other administrative stuff.
Common food sensitivities ought to be considered: please label anything containing any of the following non-exclusive list of ingredients: dairy, wheat, rye, barley, oats, corn, peanuts, soybeans, quinoa, tree-nuts, meat (not really a food allergy thing, but there may be a vegetarian or two among us), or derivatives thereof. Without labels, there will be people unable to eat anything because of uncertainty, and watch out for cross-contamination.
To a person with a food allergy, getting a single corn chip (for example) lost in the bag of potato chips means the entire bag of potato chips has become potentially deadly, even after the corn chip has been removed.
