I would like to see created, a boilerplate 9.68 violation lawsuit.
Download and print. Fill in the blanks: court of jurisdiction, violating community name and info, location and description of violation, etc., and file it at the clerk of courts.
I am not a lawyer, so I wouldn't know if such a thing is possible. Could this be a 'small claims' issue?
Have there been, and if so, can I cet a copy of, any lawsuits based on ORC 9.68?
color of law might be able to tell me how silly this idea is, but I'm curious anyway.
As for the signs, laws, rules and regulations coming back after being removed:
Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty—
power is ever stealing from the many to the few….
The hand entrusted with power becomes …
the necessary enemy of the people.
Only by continual oversight can the democrat
in office be prevented from hardening into a despot:
only by unintermitted Agitation can a people be
kept sufficiently awake to principle not to let
liberty be smothered in material prosperity.
WENDELL PHILLIPS, speech in Boston, Massachusetts, January 28, 1852
In moden terms: Smack 'em down. If they don't stay down, smack 'em again.
