Last time I was there, there was a security guard next to a sign at the entrance of the event but there was no language restricting arms. I think that would go back to someone's letter from the Reno City Attorney stating their opinion that they can't restrict the RKBA for a free event that all the public is permitted to attend, they can only restrict when they charge admission. How that actually works out would remain to be seen.
That idea was in conflict for the Reno River Festival where they had ARMED private security standing next to all entrances with signs stating "no weapons." I don't know enough to put the screws to somebody over the issue, and I conceal carry 99% of the time, so it wasn't an issue for me.
