I use nylon with snaps now have used leather with snaps I prefer the nylon.

When working carrying a full duty belt that weighed close to 12lbs fully loaded I worn five two on each side of the holster the rest evenly around my waist.

I seen to many belts move with out them to many draws screwed up as the belt comes up during the draw.

Just try running with a unsecured belt, getting into a fight they bonce and move all over.

A lot more important with the higher security holsters it take more to get the gun out.
