I was not originally well informed as to Glock configurations but believe me I have learned a lot through this experience. The weapon in question is indeed a gen 3 Glock 23. I personally prefer things that the Rt. Rev. John Moses Browning has blessed and feel sure that my son will outgrow his penchant for plastic toys. :)
Incidentally, we are having my son's suprise birthday party tonight around an open bonfire after a day of bow hunting and a friend of ours has already given him a Colt Gold Cup National Match which was purchased new in '70 or '71 and is flawless! Good friends, family, good food, a roaring fire and conversation that will undoubtably turn to things that go boom in the dark - life sure is good.
My new grandson, thank you Jamie-san, is named Colton. Can you guess what we are already calling him?
Sorry, I got off the thread a bit but just had to share.

I have a customer interested in a Glock 27. What have you all that have this gun seen to be a good holster for CC?
My son loves his Blackhawk Serpa. It has excellant retention and is very fast once you adapt to it. It appears to be a much better holster that the Fobus.

Conundrum. Did you mean to say for CC or OC? I have a Blackhawk SERPA as well for OC but definitely not a good holster for CC unless a baggy overgarment is associated with your outfit.

Hey, its winter time:) and baggy coats (windbreakers and the like also) are the norm. Besides when I stop in to eat at a restaurant that serves alcohol, all I have to do is take off my jacket and I'm legally OCing and securely so with a SERPA.

Ok -- obviously I am a late comer to this thread and video. However, I have a Bianchi 7500?? paddle holster with thumb break for my glock 19.

So I see this video and try what I see but not with so much force. What I believe is possible with this design is the following. If approached from behind and someone does get their hand on your gun. A forceful downward counter clockwise movement may just spin the paddle right out of your pants. Now I could only try this on someone that was not wearing a belt. But, tomorrow I will have someone try this one me with a belt on. I hope they can not get it off/out. However, seeing the forbus holster video (true or not) has me re-thinking the paddle holster.

Any comments. Am I just paranoid?

Ok -- Forget it. I was all wet on this one.Someone could release the thumb snap and pull the gun out of the holster before they could ever get the whole holster out of your pants.

As you all seem to be rather well-informed on holsters, I have a question about my Taurus Millennium Pro PT745. I can't seem to find a holster for it online. The holsters that look like something I would like to wear don't offer that model. There are some cheapy-looking plastic or vinyl things but I am not sure which ones are safe. So...is this model just a rare bird that I would be better off carrying concealed, and should I go buy apistol specifically for open carry that has a bigger holster market, or do any of you know wherea decent-looking holster that isn't TOO expensive could be found for this model? Thanks... I started this whole thing looking for an empty holster to wear to college for the student protest...guess I can wear a cap gun holster...

Everyone says "Why chance your life on a High-Point when you can spend a little extra money and get something reliable?"

So why chance it with that holster? That's great if its been updated, but its scary that under any circumstance a holster can simply be ripped off a person's side.
