Thai Papaya in Hampton. Best Thai food around! The NN location is OC friendly too.

oh, BTW: Belissimos Pizza no longer offers the 10% OC/CC discount. But the pizza is still amazing! and OC/CC is still fine.

Ferguson Lighting and Plumbing Showcase on Mooretown Road in Williamsburg is posted no guns/no weapons. i talked to the manager, who CC BTW, and was told its a corporate thing. the story is that a few times guns have been left in their bathrooms at various locations around the country. to avoid a lawsuit they decided to let all LACs know they and their guns were not welcome. he also told me that if i CC they would never know. i told him i dont intentionally break the law, even if its only trespassing. bye! no guns = no money...

Wonder how they think their rule/sign will prevent guns from being left in the bathroom? LOL

The Mrs. and I spent about an hour and a half at the Ferguson up here in NoVA this week and were seen by several staff people and the salesman who spent the entire time with us. I was OCing a prominent firearm ... no mention was ever made of the fact that I was carrying. There were no signs at the entrance area.

gun free killing zone in Suffolk

My wife just asked me if I ever posted on OCDO this latest GFKZ she encountered during the summer in Suffolk, Va. In the old Suffolk city community of Holland, Va., is a neighborhood restaurant and pool hall that serves beer, housed in what used to be the town grocery store. A nice little place, that had a kickin' air conditioner going the last time we went there to eat. The name of the place is The Hog Pen, and it is located in the heart of the old downtown commercial area. She went there this summer to get lunch with the kids, and saw the infernal "sign at the door," a gunbusters sign, "No guns." Just lettin' y'all know, if you find yourself off Rt. 58 in Holland, Virginia. Add it to the list?

Saw a gentleman in the farm fresh parking lot at chimney hill open carrying. His face lit up and he flashed a big thumbs up when I rolled down the window and thanked him for exercising his 2A right

OC'd at the 7-11 gas station on the corner of Georgetown Blvd and S Military Highway in Chesapeake, while picking up some smokes and a snack for the wifey last night. First legitimate excursion outside the confines of my household and surrounding area/vehicle. One clerk and a couple customers present, nothing else to report. :D

Thank you for serving in the Navy. Hope all goes well for you and the family here in the Old Dominion. I'm prior Air Force and I'm living in Newport News. Maybe I'll see you at the pig roast that Skid is having.

Kroger's email address

I was trying to send an email to Kroger and thank them for standing strong against the demanding mommies but I can't find an email address for them. Does anyone know of the email address? I couldn't find it on their web site. Thanks in advance.

I never quite know how to respond to that, but you're very welcome, and thank you for your service as well. So far all is going good for us here in the Commonwealth. There's a good possibility you will see me there, I pitched the idea to the wife and she was receptive, so currently the plan is to be there! Love me some pulled pork.

Been wanting to stop at Kroger s for a while. Finally did in Rocky Mount yesterday.went to get customer card, since the MUTHERS AGAINST GOOD SENSE, recommended cutting ours up

Tried to explain why to them, but they didn't have a clue,of even who I was talking about
They all were friendly though
