My specific pistol has been to Miami, Florida for warranty work. I mailed, via Fed Ex, to Miami, Fl. Now- unless the folks in Miami literally sent my pistol to Brazil; to be disassembled and repaired, shipped back to Miami, only to be shipped back to Colorado.... Unless that happened; my pistol is assembled in the USA. The pistol was completely broken down to Brazilian made parts; and completely "produced" or "assembled" in the United States of America. I guess I can't speak for all Taurus firearms.
Your logic is faulty... At best. Yesterday I completely disassembled myNorinco SKS, inspected, cleaned and reassembled it (it didn't need repair, it's an SKS). All with my very own twoborn in the USAhands in my very own made in the USA house right here smack in the middle ofSouth Carolina, USA.

The SKS is still, always has been and always will bemade in China.

And your Taurus was still made in Brazil. That's a fact.

P.S. A good friend of mine has had the opportunity to tour Taurus HQ in Miami. He said the a large percentage of the shop employees are Cuban nationals. Using your logic, your gun might be made in Cuba. Oh my!
Who gives a crap anyway? As long as the equipment is good...

Taurus makes far better firearms than most give them credit for.

I concur. Taurus makes a fine firearm... Almost as good as Hi-Point. ;)

I reckon if we have space for pictures of scantily clad women and burning boats, I'll go ahead and post some anti-gun porn.

Well as you see, the guns below are illegal guns! Therefore we are all safer now, nevermind that all the CRIMINALS are still on the street with thier back up gun!

Craig,

Nice Delta. I used to own one of them in all-stainless. I had a set of custom rosewood grips that I had milled for the Delta insets (which I removed from the stock rubber grips). It was one of the finest firearms I ever owned, and I've been kicking myself since that sad day about 10 years ago when i had to sell it due to financial reasons (extended period of unemployment)...

Someday, I'll get another one. I still have a MESS of 10mm ammo, including about 20 unopened boxes of the infamous "Black Talon" ammo. Heck, if I sold the ammo to a collector, I could probably buy another Delta... ;)

Dont worry love, I own some guns that say Springfield, Bushmaster, Colt, Ruger, and Beretta on the side of them as well, Im sure some of those would be classified as "real guns" even in your book ;) Justfor good measure Ikeepanother Taurus that speaks pretty loudfor not being real either, it says .454 Casull down the side of it

I get the impression that you, somewhere along the line, have forgotten that guns made by Taurus shoot bullets just the same as guns made by... well, whoever makes the guns you like.

He's an HK fanatic. I dig 'em and carry a USP daily, but recognize that there are other very nice options (also in calibers other than .45) to be had.

I just got it. I took a gamble on it with gunbroker because it has been refinished and the dealer didn't know what it was or who did it. I only paid $695. The finish is great and I'm fairly sure that its cerakote. I have plans to make it even better. I'm replacing all of the springs, putting in a beavertail, lightweight hammer, new trigger, and bar-sto barrel. When I get all of that done I'll test ammo and have Novak zero night sights to that round.
