Remember what happened to George Zimmerman? Where is Eli employed? What does his employer think of all this? Is the media bombarding him at his job, making it impossible for him to work? Where does he live, what do his landlord and neighbors think about all of this? Will he be able to continue living there? Will there be demonstrations at his residence like happened with Mitch McConnell? He may be a hero to you and me, but he won't be a hero to everybody. What is his mental state? Will he need counseling? Will he need psychiatric treatment? Will he be able to eat a meal in a restaurant without attracting a crowd, will they all be friendly? Look at what just happened at the homes of Brett Kavanaugh and Clarence Thomas. There are dozens of things that could happen to him. Some of those things will be obvious immediately, others may not show up for years. PTSD?! Who knows?
What happened the last time you shot and killed a person in front of a hundred adults and children? Give the man a few bucks. We need to take care of our own. If he was BLM, they would make him a millionaire and he'd have his own TV show.
