I have no idea who this guy is or care. I know that sand, and dirt, and grit will stick to grease or heavy oil and bind a gun. Not me but you welcome to do what you want. Just one thing, how to get all that oil to stay on the gun, unless it is thick, or grease. And the guy is wrong about WD for rust preventative, it is not. It is a water repellant and very light, and if a person counts on it for a rust preventative over any period of time they will encounter rust. So right off the bat ole Larry got that one wrong. But it must be true, he said it on the internet. Guess he never got yelled at by a drill instructor for too much lube on the weapon instead of the soldiers gun.
