I had the same Idea, but id fly it as a son of liberty, not as a tea-partyist. still really unsure of what to do for a sign.

LEA = Law enforcement agencies

+1

I just hate the way people associate the Gadsden with the modern day tea party folk.

I fly my gadsden because I consider it to be the first flag of our country. Unlike the stars and stripes, the message on the gadsden could not be more clear, especially in times like this.

DONT TREAD ON ME!!

The 2nd amendment was included not just for self defense, but to protect me from my own government.

The best way to enslave us is to disarm us first. So I'll say it again...

DO NOT TREAD ON US!!!

LEA? What's that? What if my long gun doesn't have a bolt hold-open feature? Bleh.[/COLOR]

Law Enforcement Agency.

I personally don't care how you carry, I unlike the government trust you will do so without randomly shooting people.;)

Of course I know you and I both agree that everyone should carry safely.

On looking at the map and being guilty of rarely setting foot in Olympia, WHERE SHOULD WE PARK?

should be room at the capitol visitors center at least 20 spots or so, thats RIGHT by the capitol, I believe there is parking on the campus (could be wrong.) Water street usually has parking and its JUST down the hill from the capitol a short walk. Ill probably be going to the downtown starbux and hanging @ sylvester park until 11 and then Ill walk up to the capitol fountain.

anyone want to join for coffee at sylvester park? 11AM

I got this in my obama mail yesterday. Looks like they had something planned too.

"So this year, as we prepare for another celebration, we're hoping to renew that spirit of service and citizenship -- we're calling on all Americans, including you, to volunteer in your community on Saturday, January 19th, for this year's Day of Service. Please join us, and commit to serve on January 19th.""

Hmm .. perhaps in an attempt to distract or divide us, or accuse us of being selfish and not helping our communities.

Van from the Tri Cities

I'm renting a 12 passenger van to get Tri Citians over the pass and back to this event. $10 gets you a seat plus you can feel free to donate for gas if you are able.

Gonna leave around 7am from a to be determined location and returning after the event.

Gotta find a holster for the GF but we will both come and stand up for our rights as well on the 19th. 2 extra seats for anybody wanting to carpool from Pierce County. Not sure yet about the 8th.

I plan on showing. Deciding if I want to bring a long gun or not, probably will just have my pistols as per usual.

Isn't there a big facebook push for another on February 8th?

I'll be coming down from Arlington and might have a few extra seats. I will probably be swinging by champion arms afterwards for some shootin' practice.
