Eat and Meet Gathering? Both Kansas/Missouri

I am curious if folks would like to meet up and talk politics at say maybe a breakfast or lunch place. I'm finally at a place now where I can make it to gatherings and be more involved. Speak of current issues, politics, rules, laws, etc. I know we have the forums to obviously to do this. But I feel it would be a great benefit if we all would meet up and actually speak in person. Sometimes certain issues are best to speak in person or certain events that have occurred. I will copy this over to the Missouri sub-thread too.

Just spout some ideas out on where most folks would like to meet up, eat, or we could possibly do a park gathering and just bring some items to cook on the grills?
Like I said just a thought since we're all still pretty active on the site.

Havent had those guys that USED to meet occasionally post for a long long long time. Who knows where or what they are up to. I know a couple were Hillary supporters and are probably in a mind lock, acting lawless and being part of the resistance....being they cant grow up and act like Americans, like the ones that didn't support Obama but accepted him as president for 8 years.

Your post has me confused as in I came back during a war here in the forums or something? Did I miss an entire section of where some of our members are now enemies? My post was plain as day asking if folks would like to meet and eat somewhere.

I've always thought that such gatherings were a great idea and on the rare occasions one was close enough I very much enjoyed meeting fellow travelers. I'm on the other side of the state for this one though and haven't been in KC for business in several years. However, if I ever am again and something was planned I'd love to meet more members.
