It's unfortunate, but I have to agree with this. I know several very liberal people who, under these circumstances, would interpret "N/A" as "yes" without batting an eye. And without telling you too.

I know several that would interpret a "no" as a "yes" too.

I guess the bigger question is; can services be denied for failure to answer this question? What are the required responses, Yes/No? Or Yes/No/ NA? And will the nurse/doctor tell you, you have the choice NA?

Obamacare has long tentacles.......how far is a good question. If this is a required question with a required response, what prevents the IRS from data mining this to provide to a liberal politician? We know the IRS had some shenanigans with conservative 501(3)(c) groups during the last election cycle.
