As of April 2008 we can no longer purchase handgun ammunition to be delivered to our residences. We must now go through gun shops. The gun shop owner who spoke to me about this claimed that out of state companies were hurting his profit margins and that gang members were using abandoned buildings as addresses in order to obtain fodder for their handguns, sohe and other shop owners testified in Trenton in favor of the law restricting ammo sales. Next time he and his fellow myopics need help from out of state I'm certain Midway and other oufits will come to their aid (not to mention the fact that NJ stores carry only a limited variety of ammo, especially in unpopular calibers such as 10mm Auto, one of my favorites).
