SEATTLE - Records from the FBI reveal the first hard numbers on the impact of Initiative 594, which requires universal background checks for all guns sold in Washington state.

The FBI’s criminal background check database shows that 50 felons were denied firearms purchases in the first 14 months that the law was in effect.

Caught? What does "caught" mean?

How many were prosecuted for the federal felony of lying on the 4473? Answer: none.

Just proves that background checks are 99.96% useless. (there is a 0.06% prosecution rate for felons caught lying on the 4473).


TLDR: law abiding citizens are suckers.

It would be interesting to know what the 50 felons mentioned in the article were convicted of. Writing bad checks? Using a private email server for official email and then deleting said emails which were subject to public disclosure?

commander, Abramski was caught during a drug invoked search warrant where they did find drugs in the dismissed LE's residence and the receipt of purchased gun, yet were unable to ascertain the location of the gun. the 'uncle' gave Abramski money prior to purchase of the firearm, therefore, it was a strawman which was upheld by the highest court in the land.
