8/20 KC Area BBQ and location

Unless properly permitted? Does that mean as long as you have a CCL your legal, or does it just mean just legal in general. That part of Missouri should still be OC allowed if I remember correctly.

Well the way I look at it, OC is permitted pursuant to both Missouri and City law.

Signs like this are an obvious attempt to discourage/mislead a legal practice. Such is the way anti personal attitudes are employed to circumvent both the reality as well as the intent of the law.

I plan on being there awhile if the weather is all right. Depending on the hourly forecast you may be right about Murphy's Law. There is supposed to be "Scattered T-storms" during the morning on Saturday. There's no telling what its going to be at 4PM.

Not sure, we could always scrap saturday and do it sunday; however, that would be if everyone could or would be willing to make it.

Well we can either change the date or we pick a restaurant venue and do a regular meet somewhere in the area. That way those of you who moved your schedules around will still get to come do a meet.

Well everyone, from the current rain storm and a few of the forecasts it seems like the BBQ is going to get rained out. I'm not sure what its going to look like at 4PM but the websites I've checked still say storming.

Shall we set up a secondary meeting location?
What is everyones plan/thoughts. Let me know before the actual meet time.

Might suggest not discussing it. Make an executive decision - as the attorneys are fond of saying, "Time is of the essence."

Pick an alternative location and post it ASAP so that there is time for all to adjust.

Yeah, I think we are going to have to cancel the BBQ and reschedule.
It's 11 now and we have had a few small showers and its currently over cast.
I think we should just reschedule the whole meet as many of us may not be able to make it to the restaurant. (I spent a good penny on meat for the BBQ, don't know if I have the funds to pay 20$ for dinner).
