Does Having a Gun Make a Person Suspicious? Courts Aren’t Sure Now. NYT H/T John Wesley Hall

Terry should be tossed on the ash heap of bad prior rulings. It created an exception to 4A that sounds reasonable on its face, but in practice has turned into "stop and search" based on mere hunches. The limit of patting down external clothing to find weapons is ignored, as officers dive right...

    Lending a firearm?

I wouldn't. Especially not as a non-resident. MD can be brutal. They've even tried to prosecute federal LEOs who were covered by LEOSA...

    Open Carrying on Postal Property

It's important to remember that this ruling only applies to the defendant, and doesn't establish precedent.

Anyone miss Solus? He was reasonable and not at all argumentative compared to some.

NM Gov issues order to suspend open & concealed carry in Albuquerque for 30 days

It's good to see that you admit not keeping up. The governor's order was only for the State Police to enforce. She said from the beginning that it didn't require enforcement by ABQ PD or BCSO. The AG wrote a letter to the governor, not the health department, stating he would not defend her...

NM Gov issues order to suspend open & concealed carry in Albuquerque for 30 days

The only person denying that it was her order, is you. She continues to say it was her order.

NM Gov issues order to suspend open & concealed carry in Albuquerque for 30 days

Do you think those were isolated actions? The health department works for the governor. They did not do this on their own as some strange coincidence immediately after she signed the EO declaring an emergency.

NM Gov issues order to suspend open & concealed carry in Albuquerque for 30 days

Maybe you should argue with the governor, since she’s the one saying she ordered the ban

    Government officials open carrying??

I served two terms as a state representative in New Hampshire. Open carry in the House chamber wasn't allowed as a matter of decorum, but during lunch breaks across the street when jackets came off, many R reps were OCing, and more than a few D reps were as well.

Is the police symbolic depiction of the American Flag incorporating a thin blue line a violation of law?

Right. One involves burning a flag, and the other involves burning a flag. The only way that one becomes "desecration" is by outlawing the intent of the political speech connected to the action.
