And likewise, your property rights do not trump my property rights to put what I want in my pockets.
Some folks just can't grasp the concept of get off my lawn. If I don't like what you're doing, or even if I do, I have the right to tell you to leave my property. Period. Doesn't matter why. I could tell you that I hate your sleeveless shirt. You'll just have to go bare your arms somewhere else.
Are you saying I have no right to determine what is allowed on my property while you are there?
Rights, properly understood, do not overlap.
You both seem to be saying that I have no rights at all while standing on your property. This is absolute nonsense, of course.
You have whatever rights would not interfere with my doing as I see fit with my property.
You certainly have a right to life on my property, so long as you leave when asked. Your rights to any property which isn't on my property are unaffected, of course. Your right to associate, to enter into contracts – off my property – are all unaffected. Etc etc etc. People can't suddenly violate those rights behind your back because you're on my property.
That's what rights are.
However, rights do not overlap. Anything you might do on my property against my wishes is ipso fact never a right to begin with.
It's quite simple once you get over yourself.
+1
Difdi Rights and law are to be negative, what you are proposing is positive and this is a major problem because it leads to government saying I must ........fill in the blanks.....to accomodate......fill in the blanks on my property and is a travesty to property rights.
What are you saying? That I don't have the right to carry a gun into a synagogue and start screaming Jewish banker conspiracy theories becuase of the first and second amendments? What a kill joy....

So.... Can I carry my empty leather holster into this "sensitive" place or would that be intimidating?
Is it black leather?.....
