The PMR-30 I ordered in April 2010 finally arrived. What a light gun. Total weight with 30 rounds of .22 WMR is under 20 ounces! Also got the Super Blackhawk Stainless in .41 magnum. I apologize for the poor picture quality taken on my kitchen table.

Now I need a good holster for the PMR-30 since that is what I intend to use for open carry. Any ideas on a holster?

just out of curiosity why did you chose a small caliber like the .22 for your carry firearm

PMR-30 For Carry....

I have several pistols in various calibers for carry from the .22 rimfire through the .45 Colt but I normally wear my Glock 36 in .45 ACP.

I think I will carry the PMR once I get a holster for it and the reason is simple to me: It weighs under 20 ounces with 30 rounds of .22WMR. The weight starts pulling on my side and after a while is annoying if not painful so the lighter the better.

I don't know...Oldschool has a lot of nice toys that he found while SCUBA diving!

I bet you'll have "a pair" that he doesn't have.

I think most of Oldschools guns were found while SCUBA diving in the Great Lakes. At least that's what he tells me... :)

Just think of all those boating accidents and all those lost guns...now we know who has been finding them!

Fred, looking forward to seeing that pair! I just happen to have ten C notes with your name on them waiting for you. :)

LOL! True, I am VERY patient! I ordered a .50 BMG almost three years ago and still don't have it. Sooner or later I will get it though.

The PMR-30 I knew was going to take a while since Kel-Tec is notorious for slow delivery. Ah...but it was worth it! Now I have one. Now I need another one...or perhaps two!?

Three years is a long time, I'm just curious why you haven't gotten it yet? Is it all paid for or are they just out of stock or something?

Paid In Full

It is a specialty upper that fits a standard AR-15 lower. Right now I am pretty sure it holds the world record for 1000 yards....3.5 inch group. It is hand made by one man (IIRC) and there is a LONG waiting list for his uppers. In May it will be 3 years since I ordered it. I know two other people that I work with that also waited this long. One just got his upper a month or so ago, the other not yet. Heck, it isn't as bad as the Quigley Rifle! That had an initial 5 year waiting period IIRC.

Under bridges in the La Crosse river near shallow rocky spots seems to be my Jack Pot spot. Haven't found one that was worth saving though to long in the water and rust frozen.

I think Oldschool watches the posts and when someone posts they lost their firearms in a boating accident he dons his SCUBA gear and goes diving! :)

i need a few guys to go with me to Chernobyl, don some radiation suits, and help me find my guns, we can go at night, they'll be easier to spot- they glow in the dark.

I'm in! I have my new anti-radiation suit I want to try out! I wonder if there are any phasers there?
