    Assembly Bill 282

This bill was introduced on March 16th and looks to be a bill that combines the language of several bills already in the Assembly. This bill includes: qualify with one semi-auto to carry any semi-auto, exemption for military members between 18-21 to get CCW, requiring the county sheriff to...

    Ab143

http://www.leg.state.nv.us/Session/76th2011/Reports/history.cfm?ID=349 Looks to be the companion bill of SB126, but it goes a step further and changes the law so that all permit information is confidential. The NV Supreme Court ruled last year that information on issued permits wasn't...

    Sb126

http://leg.state.nv.us/Session/76th2011/Reports/history.cfm?ID=292 Bill would do away with the requirement to qualify with and list each semi-auto firearm on your permit. Semi-auto firearms would be treated the same as revolvers are currently, qualify with one - carry any.

    Bdr 556

On October 29th, Assemblyman Gustavson posted BDR 556 for the upcoming legislative session. The only information available is the description which reads, "Removes fees and other requirements for carrying a firearm." Sounds like he's proposing a bill to make NV a constitutional carry state! :)

    Bdr 118

Just curious if anyone out there knew what Assemblyman Bobzien was trying to accomplish with BDR 118. The full BDR list for next year's session was posted last week, but none of them have text posted yet. This appears to be the only one (so far) that applies to firearms.

    Question About Private Party Sales

imported post I have a question about selling a gun private party in Nevada. I have a gun that I'm looking to sell, but the interested party is a California resident. If the person comes to NV to make the purchase, since NV doesn't require the services of an FFL while CA does, is that legal...

    Libraries

imported post This question pertains more to CC than OC for me, but I'm wondering if libraries are operated by the public schools, which would make them off limits for CC,and I think OC as well. Anyone know?

    Question about HOAs

imported post Does the pre-emption law in NV prevent an HOA from passing anti-gun rules regarding the common community areas that they maintain? I was just thinking about this the other day since my wife and I live in an HOA neighborhood and like to talk walks in the evening around the walking...

2nd Ammendment Concert in Vigirina City on the 4th

imported post Anyone else want to go? I thought about it since I figured we could open carry without too much issue since it's billed as a 2nd ammendment concert and I believe we've heard back positively regarding the status of civilian open carry in Virginia City since SB92 passed.

    Stopped in Washoe County

imported post This evening my wife and I decided to go for a walk around our community in Cold Springs (about 15 minutes north of Reno). Since I already had on a tucked in polo shirt I decided to stick my XD in the Serpa holster and open carry rather than change clothes and conceal. As we walk...

    Road Trip

imported post I'm going to be traveling from NV to WA in a few weeks and have a question about carrying in the car through OR. I was hoping to be able to open carry in my car, but I see that that is prohibited without a permit. I don't have an OR permit. We will be taking my truck, so there's...
