    Another one moving to Montana.

Concealed is 'wholely or partially' covered by clothing apparel. Tucking your jacket to make it OC being illegal is asinine and I would have just chuckled at the guy and moved on and not think another second about it.

    Montana Gun Laws

Non-resident carry is the same. However, MT will not issue non-resident concealed weapons permits. I have carried in Glacier many times, no issue. Just be aware that it's a federal park and areas such as staffed visitor centers and historic buildings/lodges are considered federal buildings and...

    Another one moving to Montana.

Hello Halite, welcome to the site, did you make it to Montana? I don't have anywhere for you to avoid, however you did pick one of the more liberal parts of the state. You may run into non-supporters there. I have an ever-ending fight with the transit authority in Missoula posting no guns signs...

    2019 HB325 Fix to preemption/Missoula

The time is now if you have not sent the Governor a message. The Senate held onto the bill before transmitting it to the Governor, so it was just sent to him the other day. Here is today's message from MSSA president:

    2019 HB325 Fix to preemption/Missoula

The language changes from HB325 regarding MCA 45-8-351 'Restrictions on local government regulation of firearms'. For those of you that had been tracking my Missoula Mountain Line Transit issue, the transportation district was using the 'public assembly' exception for how they could regulate...

    2019 HB325 Fix to preemption/Missoula

Update: This bill and its companion bill has passed both houses and is on its way to the Governor. The companion bill, HB357, sends the vote to the general electorate of Montana via referendum in the case that the Governor veto's HB325. I am interested to see what he will do, I still suspect...

Also note the implications to the conceal carry statute's. Overall expansion of rights and fixing of the preemption statute. [Edit Note: the expansion of rights mentioned above have been stricken from the bill in an amendment. The bill is primairly focused just on state preemption fixes now.]

I went to their website and noticed it listed under prohibited items on the website as well. I...
