I started open carrying in California once I became a licensed private investigator. I do not carry in businesses or banks but when I am out in the field I carry most of the time. I do have to be aware I am not within a 1000 feet of a school so I won't violate CA penal code code 626.9 and get arrested but other than that I have no problems with anyone especially law enforcement.
I carry into business's and banks all the time without any sort of license......of course I'm not in California...
...up hill, both ways?Oh, probably about 1959 in rural Kansas. We used to walk to town (3 miles one way) with our .22 bolt action single shot rifles, looking for pop bottles along the way to fund our shooting. I remember one time, at the pool hall, an older teen was sitting on the wall benches waiting for a table to open, showing a revolver he had recently acquired. While guns and shooting were a part of our lives and we enjoyed it, there was a time when pinball machines got a good deal of our attention too. Oh how times have changed.
