there is already a thread on this full of people who think this is real and that only a troll would doubt the authenticity of this video despite the terrible video editing. listen to the last gun shot get cut off while the background noise remains constant....fake.

I believe it to be fake as well. I have played around with video editing for a few years and can tell you what the guy did was take the sound of the first gun shot and overlaid it on the video while he was looking down the barrel. It cuts off because he had to cut the pump action sound out otherwise it would have been more obvious. Add a muzzle flash and the sound when he jerks the gun and render it with a lower quality to make it grainy to hide any mistakes and it looks very believable. If he had waiting longer to pump the gun then he would have a gun shot that tapers off and we would be sitting around forever debating it was real or not. Even though its fake, its a good reminder to always keep your gun in a safe direction and hangfires can and do happen though not common.

I agree, it's fake. The echo cuts out abruptly. Looks like a what not to do video for some firearms safety class. Just the way he moves, seems kinda mechanical, like the terrible actors of such videos.

yeah that. and as i said between 18-19 seconds if you slow the video down to frame by frame. hes wearing no hat. then the hat is super imposed onto his head lol

looked real at first. but after careful studying its clear that it is faked. i had first seen it on my android phone. when i posted the video, but after watching it on my PC i saw and heard the inconsistancies

Seriously though, the idea is not that far-fetched.

He is acting like the bullet grazed his forehead, and that's the giveaway. Even if he was only grazed, head wounds bleed like crazy. That's why in a knife fight the experienced guy will try and slice open the area above the eyebrows, the gush of blood will blind the other guy. In the video, no blood.

Actually looking down the barrel of a firearm with a potentially cooking round inside is called "thinning the herd"
