Was no one able to defend this woman?

A video circulating the internet shows a savage beating of a white woman in Milwaukee. This incident was not reported to MPD. Capt. Mark Stanmeyer of the Milwaukee Police Department stated that they are aware of the video.
Where were the good Samaritans? No CCLers nearby? No help? The woman doesn't seem to have a weapon either. Sheriff Clark's warning to arm yourselves because the police can't always be everywhere may have gone unheeded by citizens.
I hope this is not another black gang beating of a white or otherwise...

Sad and disturbing. But to answer your question, judging from the 'hood she was in and the time of night it is doubtful that any of the locals would be inclined to help.

On the bright side the more people that see this the more they will be inclined to heed Sheriff Clarkes advice.

I haul semi loads of Miller Beer out of Milwaukee on a regular basis. Due to the construction on the Zoo interchange, I just head north through the "wrong hood" instead. Not usually in the dark, and not on foot, and not a woman however. Should I break down my plan is to unlock trailer, open doors and announce FREE BEER while I high tail it outta there in the opposite direction!

It's a little scary that someone will video this but no one will help, and it's really a pile on mostly. I guess that's our world now? And then to post it for all the world to see? There should be enough there for someone to identify the spot if it's narrowed to to the city. And the people. There is no fear.

No one was willing to defend her....not even herself, apparently.

May she recover quickly, and perhaps next time she won't be victimized so easily.

Then she'll get her gun and CCL and join this blog and call herself PistolPackingMommanumber2. I sure hope she does the right thing soon.. I sure hope. Too many people go through multiple bad experiences before getting a gun or a taser or a billy club or an electric cow prod.

My sister and family live in Auburn, Maine. We call them Mainiacs. She seemed to be ok with it, not sure if just a family joke maybe what they go by?

Avid gun control clan and yes, been robbed a couple of times at least.

Yep. This Maine-ite learned the hard way. He was robbed 5 times before he got a gun..... hello? :banghead:

This particular story is also being discussed in another thread.

Not only did the idiot wait until he'd been robbed 5 times before getting a gun, but then he shoots a robber after the thief turns tail to run. Most likely no threat to innocent life or limb when the homeowner chose to use deadly force.

So he waits way too long to get a gun, then misuses the gun the first time he has need of it.
