I saw the following article on the Vilsack/King debate. It appears that gun control came up with Vilsack saying that "assault weapons" have no place in polite society while King defends them pointing their popularity for varmint control.

I started to watch the Boswell/Latham debate on PBS but lost interest real quick. Did anyone watch all the way through? Anything of note come up?
I did look the two gents up to see where they stand on RKBA and they are both highly rated by the NRA, good enough for me. I did watch the debate long enough to learn that both of these honorable gents have served in office for a decade or more. Are these two the best we have? Of all the people in their respective districts (now a singular district after the lines were re-drawn) these are the best we could find for ten years? I don't have anything concrete to hold against either, I'm just of the belief that politicians and diapers need to be changed often, and for the same reason.
Thankfully we don't have Loebsack running for office in this district any more. Problem is that he moved across the district line so that he could run against a Republican. We need to remove that <expletive> from office. Loebsack is no friend of ours. How does Archer stack up to Loebsack? As far as I'm concerned I'd vote for a ham sandwich over Loebsack.
Where I live we got Braley vs. Lange. I don't know much about Braley except he's been rated poorly by the NRA. Don't know much about Lange either, just that he's been rated highly by the NRA.
Lange was in Cedar Rapids on Thursday to speak but I missed it. Did anyone see him there? Did he say anything of note?
