Please don't mention signs. "If you build it, they will come."

If they post a sign, even CCers will be barred.

Its a natural reaction. Totally understandable.

But, don't say it. Say something else. Please just completely omit any mention of signs.

Yeah, BWW is definitely on the "no-go" list. Personally, I don't miss it.

The other day I walked past a defunct "TK's" (Toby Keith's), and literally laughed out loud when I saw the huge "NO GUNS ALLOWED" stencil across the front door and the sad, empty space behind it. The same day I went to a busy Roy Rogers (complete with kids with holster fries) and had an awesome burger (OCing, of course), and a conversation with 2 other gun guys who happened to be there also.

Banning guns is bad for business. ;)

Walmart is now on my banned list of stores .... not selling ARs anymore was just the last straw in their recent line of anti-gun movements.

Keep in mind that in MN a posting is not required for them to ask you to leave. There's no such thing as an "illegal" sign, juse compliant ot not, and since the signs have no force of law, it really doesn't matter if they're compliant .They still have to ask you to leave.

This was a business decision, not a public pressure one. They aren't selling enough of them.

That doesn't surprise me either, I've never been impressed with Walmart's selection or prices on ARs, as well as their lack of accessories. A local gun shop often had better prices, and will configure it to your liking.

Talked to the gun counter guy at my local Walmart. He stated that he had not sold a AR in just about a year...not one. Folks don't even look at them he says. Taking up valuable space in the gun case he says. Good riddance he says.

I always looked at bolt actions...guess he is right.

Big difference between not stocking a item because it does sell and banning it for political reasons like they did to the Confederate flag and handguns. But in general sprawlmart is one of my least favorite places to go. Ranked 3rd I believe.
#1 Bath and Body Works
#2 DMV
#3 Walmart.

Not everything Wallyworld sells are on their shelves. They should still sell them.
