Yes we need a funeral C & L, your credibility has died

You are confused! You are mistaking death with a funeral. They are two different things....
I certainly am not confused sir. You conflate doomed with death. You believe that the case is doomed to failure. You predict that the case will fail (die). Predicting failure/death is not the same as dead. In the end Charles may or may not win, but the only thing that has already died is your credibility.

The funeral we need to have, and should not delay, is the funeral for your credability on OCDO.

You sir remind me of the grieving family at the beside of the patient that has been declared brain dead by the experts. You just can't bring yourself to accept what is true. You insist on just hanging on at all costs. I get it. I understand how difficult it is sometimes to accept the truth. Especially when you have been suckered and bamboozled into giving him some hard-earned money. What was it that P.T. Barnum said......

You can say what you want. You can believe what you must. What is undisputed is that his case was declared dead by the expert District Court judge a long time ago and until Jesus comes around and resurrects his case, it is D E A D! And at some point if you cannot accept it then you are brain dead also. LOL.

Try asking for your money back. LOL

Sleazy Conduct?

Hey Charlie, just noticed that after you met your $5000 goal on your GoFundMe page you then reset the goal to $7500. I think that is kind of sleazy. What say you?

Get ur Popcorn Ready

Reminder, we are 1 week away from the disaster that is going to be Charlie’s oral argument and I can’t wait. I have cleared my calendar and ordered a double helping of popcorn for the occasion. I even considered attending in person but my colleagues reminded me that LOL in the courtroom is very unprofessional.

My first post in this thread (#17) was a simple comment on just how unprepared Charlie was to handle an appeal. After more than a year and a half (and many post on this thread), I am able to report that Charlie remains just as unprepared as ever. I am convinced that next week will provide the kind of entertainment rarely seen in an American courtroom.

One question is whether Charlie is going to remain true to himself and spew the legal nonsense he has been spewing on this forum (Judge Otero don’t know what he is talking about; misrepresenting the holding of cases; the infringement test; white boys can make ‘as applied’ racial challenges; he knows more than any lawyer, etc.), or is he going to punk out?

The second question is whether the judges will just ignore his amateurism or will they challenge his stupid assertions and make him look like a fool.

Prediction, as to the first question, I can’t help but think that his ego will get the better of him. At least I hope so because it will be a hell of a lot more entertaining that way.

Prediction, as to the second question, I don’t believe the Court granted oral argument just to fill a slot in the calendar. I believe that they are going to use this case to make some really bad law for Ca. gun owners. I also believe that they are going to have a little fun at the expense of the amateur. At least, I hope so. Otherwise, why not just rule against him without bothering with the argument; which they are most certainly going to do.

Either way, my original assertion will finally be proven correct. Charlie, you are not ready for primetime, player! And after listening to the arguments, not even Charlie’s Angels will be able to defend him.

Good Luck Charles, Shame on you Cocked and Locked

Cocked and Locked, It is a pity that you are so invested in the failure of Charles that you are looking forward to a legal defeat that sets back gun rights. Whether anybody on this forum thinks he has a real chance of winning or if you think his chances are on the order of a snowball in hell, all gun rights people should wish him well.

Charles, Know that many on this forum are rooting for you. Thank you for lighting a candle instead of cursing the darkness. Godspeed.

I agree completely. Charles has already arrived where cocked & locked said he could never go. Any success from here on out is just icing on the cake. At this point, even failure is a win for gun rights and for Charles.

Recap

So let's recap on just where Charlie is at present and what exactly it took to get there. He spent $200 and filed an defective complaint in District Court, which was thrown out. Then he spent $400 and filed a Notice of Appeal and defective Brief which is about to be thrown out. Wow.... sure took a lot to 'arrive'.

Any success he has from here will be his first success since he has lost at every step of the way!

Finally, please don't be angry at Dorothy for simply pulling back the curtain on the Great Wizard of Oz. LOL!

And don't hog the popcorn.

Why don't you "recap" all of your predictions that he could never get to this point?

You can leave that curtain alone. Charles has not bothered me by any of his actions. He has spent his own money or money voluntarily donated to him by people that want him to continue doing what he does. I may send him some tonight, just to spite your smug arrogance.

sorry gutshot, thundar, et al., sorry but when charles starts the "OMGoodness I am saving the world hyperbole" with his collection of $$$ from JQPublic who believe his rhetoric about this lawsuit is like the concept of P.T. Barnum did as he taught a small stature young boy to sing, dance, mime as he manipulated the youth into the performer named General Tom Thumb all in pursuit of the all might money!

as for charles getting as far as he has...look who, against all odds at the beginning, won the 2016 election?

Sounds like ur the type of person that will place a bet on a three-card-Monte game on the sidewalk. My advice to such a well-reasoned individual as yourself is to put his money down on the Monte game instead of giving it to Charlie.

Given a choice between Monte and Charlie, ur better off with Monte because Charlie has no chance of winning. LOL.

Oral argument

Two of the judges in Charlie's case have already heard oral arguments in other cases earlier in the week.

If you want to watch a really bad oral argument in a case (by lawyer, no less) before those same two judges then take a look at the Carlos case argued 2/12.

I predict Charlie will be worst than this!

TODAY IS YOUR DAY CHARLES

THe journey has been long and difficult. It is a pity that you have had to endure on this forum pejorative and spiteful vindictive instead of constructive criticism. All of that pettiness is now behind you. You made it to a level that many who make lawyering their profession have failed to achieve. I know I speak for many on this forum who say thank you for the effort.

For the proceedings today, Godspeed!

When ur liberty is on the line, I wish for you a lawyer the caliber of Charlie.

It's time to put up or shut up, or as Rainman would say, 'one hour to Wapner'.

For my well-wishes for you I am going to allow you the privilege of passing me the popcorn. Now shut up and watch, the train wreck is about to happen and I don't want to miss it.

Don't punk out, Charlie. Tell that nice little old lady, Judge Berzon, that you don't carry a purse!
