Hi, All. Not an advertisement. Nothing more than a great shooting range experience in Richmond. Went to Dominion Shooting Range, Inc. in Richmond. Really nice folks that helped us get set up and all. Had a retired LEO with me and he was impressed with the facilities and employees. There were 2 local Deputies shooting there, also. I'd recommend it, if you're in the area. Just passing it on...

Just a note here from the admin. Ad's are fine as long as they are for firearm related items, training, political rallys, etc and are not posted to every single thread. :)

I'm the only person I know who has a shooting backstop at their house. I live way out in the boonies and decided I'd rather buy a $125 load of dirt every couple years than to have to travel to an actual range whenever I want to shoot. My backstop isn't big enough for multiple shooters but for 2-3 guys having his own target, it's more than enough. The only down side to having your own backstop is that it drives the neighbors crazy! The neighbors are always calling the law on me but I'm law abiding and never mind showing off my new toys to the local LEO's. One neighbor tried to get me for a completely bullcrap brandishing charge but I beat it in court and since then they seem to have calmed down.

Me too, I grew up in Alabama, out in the country. I could walk out my door and shoot until my finger fell off. Sure was nice. Now I have to drive 20 minutes, pay $7.00, shoot for a couple of hours, and drive 20 minutes back home. It was much nicer when I could set up my own scenarios and practice as I pleased. Maybe one day I can get me a piece of land out in the hill country where I'll be able to do the same.

Cheers,

Jason
