Reliable SD loads for a LCR or S&W Airweight

I asked this in another thread that was dedicated to the LCR, but I figured I would start a new thread about this specific issue, as it pertains not only to the LCR but also to any of the airweight snubnose .38's....

I keep reading about how airweight .38's sometimes unseat hollow points from the casings, particularly with P+ rounds. Have any LCR owners had any problems with bullets becoming unseated from the casings? The owner's manual also describes this as a possibility & details how to check your ammo.

What kind of SD-hollowpoints are people loading in their LCRs? I currently have mine loaded with 129gr Federal Hydra-shoks, but I have not had an opportunity to get to the range to test fire the HP's yet.

What SD ammo have folks tested & found out does not work? Conversely, what SD ammo have people found works as intended?

I don't want to stock up on a particular brand of ammo only to find that it is not airweight/snub friendly.

It is a revolver! Any ammo made to specshould be reliable. The LCR is a great carry peice, hide in a pocket easily. Some loads are better performers for penetraton and expansion.

I have a Smith Airweight 642 .38 spl. and use Speer Gold Dot 135's with no issues. I think "jumping crimp" is rare, but more common with alloy .357's.
