Questions on AB 144

How will AB 144 work on National Forest land and BLM lands.
Will those LEO's enforce this new law on pistol hunters or just OC for protection ?

I'll try to clarify, a little bit more.
This AB 144 passing, how do you think it might effect our wanting to carry on BLM land,
or National Forest lands ?
Do you think we can still carry in those areas ?
Does anybody have any Idea on this subject ? Or do we have to wait till it is "Codified"
into the PC-law books.To understand the full impact ?

I was thinking if BLM and Forest Service,LEO's go along with state laws, then you can't carry
a pistol in those areas also.
Does anybody have any Ideas on this ?

AB144 ( and the PC sections it creates) only applies to Incorporated territory and prohibited areas of unincorporated territory (any area you must UOC now is an easy way to think of it). AB144 does not affect areas where it is currently legal to LOC, it hasn't changed that. It is simply keeping unloaded (non functional paper weights) out of the cities, it keeps the sheeple happy in their little sheeple lives. Essentially it removes your right for protection via handgun, unless you are somewhere you can legally LOC.

There are numerous exemptions in AB144 where UOC would still be legal.... to or from hunting, licensed insurance adjuster, etc etc.

Of course wherever LOC was legal, it still will be. However, much of the NF and BLM are "prohibited areas" (like on roads), so UOC was the only way to go there.

There is an exemption in the new UOC ban, but it is not clear as to whether it will work for us or not. The problem is language about whether or not handguns are "specifically permitted".

check your calguns post for a possible exemption I posted that seems to hold water for most BLM, NP, NF lands. With or without going to or from hunting!
