In that you now have to accept my beliefs and more importantly accommodate those beliefs, when I took the poll this morning I believed it was a good thing that the open carrying of guns would make me feel safer as a female between the ages of 18 to 24 years old, but only for the 5 seconds it took to take the poll.

Cops, FUDDS, and liberals have been hitting the poll given that less safe is as high as it is. Though, I never read the Charleston paper after the local food critic proclaimed that Captain D's had the best fried seafood in town. Typical of a liberal, never had any inclination to go out to Folly and have a plate of the best fried seafood in town at The Anchor Line (now long gone).

32% Less safe
13% About the same

Charleston, a liberal bastion. Drive 20 minutes or so out of town and folks are a wee bit more pragmatic on this issue. I suspect that the liberals (lily white) in Charleston are fine with holding the black folks in their place, unarmed and beholden to their plantation masters.

Went to Folly Beach less than a month ago, expecting to eat at Locklear's on the pier but the site is being remodeled and I doubt they'll return. We ate at Planet Follywood, about the only ole place remaining and familiar from years of Thursday night bike rides to beer.

Been to Bowen's Island twice in the last six weeks and I will not ask to go again. They know that there are no return customers with any discrimination. The oysters are the only reliable entree remaining.

Maybe its me, getting old and picky. The only good food this trip, other than home made, was down town - The Mills House, 82 Queen, Magnolia's.
Fleet Landing has good seafood and is somewhat reasonable on your wallet. It is hit or miss on the length of the wait to get a seat.

Folly Beach. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurants-g54231-Folly_Beach_South_Carolina.html

I prefer a tavern atmosphere.
