Un-publicized boycotts that don't instantly and drastically turn off cash flow are pointless. I don't think it matters what is posted as policy if it doesn't carry the weight of law.

I voted and then took advantage of the comments section. I then posted it on Whatcom Countys OC page in order to spread the opportunity to participate. If I were a local shopkeeper, and I was "on the fence" about this issue, I would follow this to see how it would affect my business.

In MY personal life, I do not monetarily support any business that is contradictory to me. Some smart business owners have approached me for my opinion and as to why I carry. No shopkeeper has ever asked me to leave and only one has ever asked me to "cover up"(I did not). Why give money to a person who does not like you and puts you in harms way?

Why would I give money to a store that doesn't care about the safety of myself and loved ones?

Not less likely...........won't!

As of 20:11 central time on FRI 30MAY:
20% more likely
60% less likely
20% no difference

So there's still a clear majority who support civil rights.

If this poll were asked about any other group (based on skin color, religion, country of origin) the results would probably be overwhelmingly against the business doing the banning.
