defending muslim terrorists doesn't make someone a patriot.

the only difference between you and muslim terrorists is they have the balls to actually go out and do something about their cause.

Aaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

Strawman! And, evasion!

Your repeated refusals here to differentiate shed some real suspicion on your actions against police. I wonder just how much you screw around with facts in those cases. How much are you distorting the real story to us?

Reason for edit: A helpful spelling elf pointed out that I wrote you're instead of your. A really helpful elf would have made coffee, too. :)

Just sit at home on your keyboard. That's where you do your best work.

ROFLMAO!!! Thank you!! I've long considered that promoting the 4th and 5th Amendment to the membership was very important--educating new guys on the various angles of those rights, and their history, to give them a chance to enhance their appreciation. And, to separately promote freedom-oriented ideas in general to the gun guys who maybe haven't been exposed to them yet or much. Thank you very much!

And, I OC whenever possible as a political statement, not merely to exercise a right. That is to say promote the right of self-defense to the public at large, stopping to chat whenever a member of the public comments on my OC or asks about it. Regarding OC, I've already walked the walk and helped "pacify" the local police. This beyond just daily OC.

So, your knee-jerk counter attack missed. Hopefully, your accuracy with the facts you report here is better.

IMO that IS walking the walk, wonder when the last time CP open carried...

OTH religious fanatics that hang around street corners annoying the public could be considered walking the walk. Personally I just thought they were Bat Poop Crazy. I support their right to do it, I just think they are nuts.

I had three such chats, today, driving across the entire state of Virginia over about 5 hours. Beat that. :p

I had three such chats in just over an hour at Golden Corral for dinner the other evening - Golden Corral is fertile territory :)

Well, heck, I've had more than three in a day. The amusing part of that to me was that I spent basically all that time behind the wheel, only making the briefest of stops, and yet the chats still found a way to happen. :)

Lemme guess. More pretty girls asking about your gun and T-shirt? :p:)

Either way, you win. Even if it was only two chats with pretty girls.

Now, go away and stop reminding my of my age, and that I'm not a babe magnet.

:):p

lol, me saying "beat that" was purely a rhetorical device. It's not a contest. :)

I guess my point was that even a "blown afternoon" spent making a long drive can afford opportunities for OC to work its magic.

Nawwww You are not walking the walk unless you are out there unarmed harassing cops. And then whining like a little biotch when they harass back.

High pay attracts everybody, no matter what their level of competence. Unions are full of people who can't or won't do their job. Other employees have to pick up their slack, they get paid the same as the best employees, its almost impossible to get rid of them and their lack of performance spreads to new hires like the plague.

Yep,.

oh great all the usual anti-union talking points as written by the big corporations who just want to pay everyone minimum wage.

when wages are higher you attract more people which gives you room to select better people. if you payed minimum wage the only people who you will attract are either people with no skills or people who are desparate. higher pay begins to attract more skilled people who are likely to stay. look at New York City, they have the lowest police pay in the area, and the highest turnover rate. they hire people, who stay for three to 5 years and then get a much better paying police job somewhere else. which results in costing more money to train replacements. higher wages generally always mean you get better and more dedicated applicants.

This is a huge fail on economics , and historically incorrect. Plus I wish you and others would quit conflating private sector with public sector jobs.....they just don't equate, and in my experience the most qualified don't take public sector jobs...and many take a huge wage loss when they move from public to private.....and I think that has a lot to do with their skill level/performance.

Taking a wage loss and taking a compensation loss isn't the same thing, considering the richness of public sector health and retirement benefits. And it is precisely the lower-skilled workers where government compensation is most outrageous. Yes, University of California presidents making half a mil a year is outrageous, but there's only a dozen or so of them, compared to hundreds of $150-200k "diversity" bureaucrats and thousands of $100k secretaries and $70k janitors.

I taught in the public school system before going private for over a decade. I took a huge cut in pay and benefits to do so. That didn't matter to me. I wanted to be a teaching professional. That is impossible in the public schools. Their primary concern is avoiding complaints and lawsuits, not teaching kids.

Your point is spot on.
