I'm looking for a good CC piece (still) and came across Para's 'Warthog' and I was hoping that someone here would have either some personal experience or at least an opinion on this gun. The MSRP is $749 for the warthog and $945 for the nite hawg. I think that the nite hawg is just a warthog with night sights and non reflective finish on all the parts. I'd really prefer the nite hawg but that's an awful lot of money to fork over. Is it worth the money or is it unreliable and/or not worth the money? Thanks for any advice you might have.

Don't have any experience with the weapons you mentioned but was wondering............. are you driving yourself crazy yet?:D

Seriously though, if you want one, buy one. If your real goal is just to get a reliable cc gun why spend $1,000 if you can get one for $500? However, if you 'want' a Warthog, go for it. No one ever said gun purchasing is based on common sense. It can be like crack to some folks, like me.:D

As for driving myself crazy, you have no idea!!! There are just so many guns out there that seem like they'd be a great CC piece and the simple fact is, I want them all!

As for the warthog/nite hawg, I've decided against it. The price is a huge factor in that decision but the other factor that really stood out to me is the fact that it's SAO. I plan to carry in the pocket or on the ankle at least some of the time and if the SHTF, I'm most likely not going to have the time to worry about clicking off the safety.

I still might get this gun someday so if anyone has any experience with this please let me know how reliable they are.
