the stores are franchises so I would welcome guns (legal) if I was an owner

Who actually eats here?

My brother lives in one of the liberal enclaves, Chapel Hill, and wastes his money here at that location for reasons that escape me. I guess he's okay, walking amongst the sheeple, soon-to-be ultra statist liberals. Cause, you know, its not like one of his bosses who worked at UNC was murdered in broad daylight. Oh wait...

Ever notice its always two dudes from Durham, tearing up Chapel Hillians. Like these two award winners?

Sunrise Biscuit on Franklin St is drive through and much better for breakfast (as noted by the forty car average line out into the street)

For lunch or dinner?

Heck, man. Pick any other place.

I guess Mothers Demanding Attention needed a liberal boost after Kroger slapped them in the face. Mehhhhhhhh.

We have never been in Yuppie Panera Bread, no big deal, the mom and pop business sends them a big thank you.

They are only asking "no guns".

Within our company, we strive to create Panera Warmth. This warmth means bakery-cafes where customers and associates feel comfortable and welcome. To this end, we ask that guns not be brought into this environment unless carried by an authorized law enforcement officer. Panera respects the rights of gun owners, but asks our customers to help preserve the environment we are working to create for our guests and associates.

The STL media, that are "pro 2A", advocate that CC is the only way to go. So, OCers are on the out and the CC Industrial Complex thrives in STL. Panera Bread is headquartered in Sunset Hills, MO.

I am pretty sure in the later part of their response, they state that they intend to adhere to state and local laws. They are 'requesting" you not bring in your weapon. Seems like a hollow victory for the anti gun crowd to me. I don't pay $10 for a ham sandwich so I am not affected by their decision. I don t spend money in gun buster stores if it can be helped.

Well we know what to do. If they put signs up, boycott them and tell them why. Otherwise I can easier draw up a social network post, tag them publically and use hashtags. Nothing like a bit of bad press and the potential for loss of money to make people behave.

Just another reason for me not to have to go. My gf loves the place but I think the food is terrible and way overpriced for what it is. I can't for the life of me find why people like it.

The high price is the price of feeling elite, better than the subway crowd. After all, how many Panera Bread franchises are located in the middle of ghetto districts?

It reminds of getting lunch while a university cop. We would drive off campus into the slummiest part of town to get the best ribs and fixings anyone could ever want to enjoy. And all for a very reasonable price. In Key West I often bought food from the street vendors walking Bahama Village. Better food than the uppity fancy restaurants on Duval Street.
