Okay everyone!!! The trip to walmart was a breeze.I just want to point out theobvious first.

1.) There was no sheriff deputy doing detail there. Usually he is on the grocery side of walmart. Thats where i like to go in.

2.) There was no door greeter there.

3.) Alot of the associates thought i was a police officer. But i was wearing myLOCAL shirt.

4.) The associates treated me very nicely. They didnt even bother staring at my GLOCK.

Im just going to start from the beginning because im a detailed person.

Pulled up into the parking lot of Walmart. I droved around to the grocery side of walmart. My first thing was i wanted to see if there was a deputy there. He wasn't there. But still i grabbed a LOCAL pamphlet and put it in my back pocket. I had a feeling i was going to be needing it. I walked into the store and my wife grabbed a buggy and went into the produce section. While we were getting vegetables nobody didn't even notice me with a sidearm. We went to the meat department and we asked a associate to help us. He was very kind even though he look like he was having a bad day. He talked nice to us. He help us find what we needed. He stayed with us for about a good thirty minutes answering our questions. He pretended like my handgun wasn't there.

We then went to the dairy section and there was an older woman yelling at her husband and the woman kept looking back at me. She whispered something into her husbands ear but then her husband says dont worry about it. We minded our own business and continued to shop.

I had recieved a phonecall which was verydisturbing. Mainly my mom saw me in the store and she called me saying why do you have a gun in the store you are going to jail. Why do you keep doing this S**t. I heard her across the store, loud capping me about it. I left the groceries in the buggy grabbed my wife and left without hesitation. I just didn't want to bother the sheep and get everyone nervous. I tried to tell my mom to calm down. But she wouldn't.So i had to leave.

But I then gotten happy at wendy's after we left walmart. The guy at wendy's saw me carrying. He took my order. I gave him a hundred i told him i hope you can break that. He said yeah i will i just need to get my manager to break it. While the manager was doing that the cashier said do you need a permit for that. I told him no. He said he was told that he was supposed to have a permit in order to carry. I told him that you need a permit to conceal not to open carry. Then my wife gotten excited and grabbed a local pamphlet and gave it tothe guys. He said i like you guys I do. Then he had everyone that was in the back to come and check out my handgun. They all said I looked nice. I told them to study the laws yourself and go on our website and ask people on their. They won't steer you wrong. He said that he liked us because we are out there to defend our rights and make it okay for everyone to carry guns. I said just study the laws yourself. Just be ready if a LEO approaches you. Some of them know the law and some don't. Right inside the store the cashier made more copies and handed it out to everyone else that works there.

Overall yesterday was a great time to open carry in walmart. I didn't feel nervous. It was a great experience. For now on im not leaving my gun in the car at walmart anymore. The police will just have to get to know me. Another thing, I educated people in the process.

GIVE ME PROPS. I DID IT!!!!!!:celebrate:celebrate:celebrate:celebrate

More like my wife ran me out because my wife wanted to fight her mother-in-law for doing that. I didnt want to go to jail or my wife.

I hope they put the meat and cold stuff up. There was some good ribeyes in there. plus some chicken wings.:banghead:Thanks alot mom.
