Hayward is having their annual fishing contest and festival Called Musky fest. main street block off vendor booths up and down for 4 blocks.

I normally avoid town when it is going on but I had to run into the hardware store so I decide just to walk up and down main street. Frist stop the Do it best hard ware brought what I needed talk to several people about stuff and left. the wife and I then headed to main street did a tour of the vendor booths said hi to some people we know. Saw a few looks but no comments.

All in all just pleasant walk around town carrying my Glock 23 in its serpa. I thought about using my SR1911 or my XD 5.25 two tone but I would have to had to change out holsters and mags. Just easier to go with the glock.

Heading down to Wausau to meet the family from Maine at the RedEye microbrewery. Kind of funny since none of us drink, but it's a place my Mom can eat. Long story, doesn't make sense. Anyway, hotter than blue blazes so left the 226 at home and sporting the 938 Scorpion in a DM Bullard BTB. Not sure if they have a gun sign or not, will have to check. I'm not drinking any fermented beverages. I'm guessing it's small enough no one will notice, most people don't even notice the full size gun.

It's wife's carry setup, she never said anything, I don't think she even noticed yet.

Oced my 357 into Ellsworth on a hot weekend for a dilly bar at the local DQ. Met the school bus driver who used to pick up my daughter for school. He had to make a point about the gun. A few Minnesotans were there too. Don't know what they were thinking. In Hudson an older Minnesotan in an antique store pointed to my gun and asked me if it was legal bec he didn't know. I told him 2A was in the constitution. Owner of store a girl looked nervous but when she saw my blondie, seemed to calm down. I am sure I looked like one of the two Minnesotans of middle eastern decent who were shooting at each other in front of a liquor store in 2014. Otherwise all quiet on the western front... By the way that movie with Lew Ayres is an anti war and gun movie in my opinion.

Carried into RedEye with no issues. Not sure that anyone noticed. I was seated on the end of the table with firearm facing bar area, where orders were coming out. But, they were busy. Waitress tried to give me the tab for the $250 some dollar bill, maybe that was her way of disapproving?

Friday I will be open carrying the 226 into a home closing meeting at AbbyBank in Abbotsford. I've already checked the place out and no signs on the door. Will be doing some regular banking there in the future, but I will be carrying a check on me for a somewhat substantial amount, at least for me. More importantly, I will be accompanied by one of the three most important women in the world.
