I just heard from the State of Idaho and South Carolina has not returned a signed agreement for South Carolina and the Idaho Enhanced Permit. Idaho told me they have sent two draft agreements to South Carolina with no response. The Idaho State Police have been instructed to remove their reference that South Carolina honors the Idaho Enhanced. South Carolina has always been very slow at responding to every state that has contacted them from all that I hear.

There could be reciprocity for SC/Idaho Enhanced in the future but not at this moment. Do be aware that the NRA and It looks to me like Legal Heat (From their Facebook Page) are reporting that South Carolina Honors the Idaho Enhanced. NO AGREEMENT EXISTS AT THIS TIME!

Nightmare, It was not SC who was reporting there was reciprocity. It was the Idaho State Police. They have been reporting it for a month. I have been receiving emails from people telling me SC Honored the Idaho Enhanced as the Idaho State Police were saying so.

Go to http://www.isp.idaho.gov/BCI/index.html (There is no direct link to the page the Idaho SP have their listing on.)

Click on "License to Carry Concealed Weapon" in the header.

When the window opens at the bottom of the window click on
"CWL Reciprocity With Other States. See the listing for SC

If you click on the state name "South Carolina" in that listing you will see the communications between SC and ID. There is no Agreement shown there only communications saying it is possible.
