The only place I have ever been kicked out of was a Cowboy Fast Draw meet in Idaho City. I was in the stands watching when one of the Id. City club members came over and told me I couldn't be there with my firearm. When he sawmy 1911 in cond.1 he jumped up and exclaimed with wide eyes..."and it's cocked too!"

I got to laugh about the fast draw compitition...Believe it or not, it was a fast draw compitition back in 1970 where I found out it was legal to OC wothout a license.

That is when I started to OC..did so without a license for over 25 years after that.

the only thing missing on the m&P15 sport is dust cover and forward assist. same lower as 5.45 except spring. ive never cleaned or had to use my forward assist or dust cover in the last 2000 rounds. desert, rainy, hot, cold conditions worked great. milspec is over rated in my book. why cant you do it on paper? felony?

it will be my next purchase but yours is up to you

stay safe buddy

Hardly. I'm 18, just starting off, and would prefer to have a small personal armory that .gov doesn't have info on. ;)

Welcome

Welcome JK to Nampa. You will fine most places and people here are very cool about OP, but you'll probably run into an Idiot sheep or even an uneducated LEO who aren't aware of the laws and like many have mentioned you'll get a lot more out of them by being polite and respectful. Just don't let them ruin your day just because they are unhappy. Don't give them the satisfaction of thinking they got to you. Just piss them off by smiling and saying have a nice day. I've got a few friends over at The Boise Gun Co. and they are good people who will help you in any way. They also aren't one of those LGS who'll try and rip you off, at least in my experience. Good Luck and Keep you Powder Dry!
Later & Peace,

I'm guessing that you don't carry on either of those occasions. I'm just wondering, is there anywhere else in the Nampa/Boise area I should be wary of? I already know to avoid Alpha Omega Services (gunshop). They were VERY unfriendly to me when I tried to OC there. (I had turned 18 the day before and was naturally looking for a good price on an AR 15.)

I had the same thing there. I oc'd and someone yelled from the back that I will be shot if I tough it, Another guy walked me outside and told me they do not allow OC in the store, CC is fine as long as they don't know about it at all.
I will never go there again. On the other hand, American Pawn just down the street are way better. I have been in there but not OC, they are very CC friendly though.

Thanks for the necro post,,, But
I have to ask???
What does CC friendly really mean?

Do you just go around telling folks that you are secretly carrying a gun that they arent supposed to know about?
